Travelling by public transport
From Bordeaux train station, you can easily get to the campsite by bus or carpool (e.g. BlaBlaCar). In the summer months, bus line 4211 takes you directly to Carcans Plage. All year round, the 421 bus runs to Lacanau Océan, which is about 10 kilometres from Carcans Plage (nearest stop: Le Huga). From there, you have the option of taking a taxi or travelling on by hitchhiking.
